About Me

                                                 Bringing Imagination to Life!

My name is Kiara Lee. I love creating realistic fiction stories for books and movies.  Imagining relatable storylines that keep the audience engaged and wanting more is my goal for each story.  I utilize my diverse background and experience in my writing which makes the stories seem real.

I pride myself on being genuine and shining my light in every room I walk in. People can expect an exuberant attitude and a relatable personality while I bring focus on my creativity. With a passion to enhance growth and showcasing my uniqueness, I will change the lives of those around me by being personable, inclusive, and sincere in my writing.

I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Journalism. During this time, I interned as a Content Curator where I managed social media accounts, and worked on bringing more traction to them. I also started my own YouTube channel called Get Down With Ki. I created videos where I gave advice or even talked about things that sparked my interest and my audience.

I recently obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing. During this time, I have mastered creating scripts and short stories. I was awarded the Advanced Achiever of my program - which is the student who exemplifies academic excellence. An Advanced Achiever leads as an example for the graduating class and puts heart and soul into learning, creating, collaborating and growing.

While I may not show a lot of experience with publishing any work or working in the writing field, I exemplify a spirit that shows how hard I am willing to work to get anything done. I aspire to be great in any and everything I place my name on. All it takes is one chance to prove myself.
