Hey hey!
It's been a hot minute since we last caught up, hasn't it? Life's been a whirlwind, and I have to admit, I’ve been beating myself up over starting things and not seeing them through. But you know what? I've come to realize that it's okay to stumble and start over. Just because I'm not consistent with something I love doesn't mean it's any less valuable or that it's gone for good. Sometimes, we’re our own biggest obstacles.
What I've been learning is that progress doesn't have to be a giant leap; it can be a tiny step. And once you take that step, even if it's a baby step, the rest will follow. Life is funny that way—it has this magical way of coming full circle.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
Lately, I've found myself with an abundance of free time, thanks to being unemployed. It feels like déjà vu, taking me back to 2021. I never imagined I'd be in this position again, but here we are in 2024, and I'm out here trying to piece things together. Instead of dwelling on the uncertainty, I decided this is the perfect moment to dive into my dreams and work on my business. Be my own boss, just like I've always wanted.
I've got a few exciting ideas up my sleeve, and I can't wait to share them with all of you! Some of these ideas will benefit certain folks more than others, but I believe they’ll make all my supporters proud. I won't keep you in suspense for too long—just know something’s cooking up in the kitchen, and I am HUNGRY!
I really want to take my writing more seriously, so I hope this won't be the last time you hear from me for months on end. I’m hesitant to make any promises because, let's face it, promises get broken more often than not, sometimes for reasons beyond our control—life just happens. But I do want to make a promise to myself: to respect my craft more. I want to enhance the beauty of my words and share them with the world, because people need to hear them; heck, I need to hear them! God gave me a gift that I can't keep to myself, and there's this flame inside me urging me to use what He has given me and trust that everything else will follow.
God's got ME! I know that for sure.
We all start off as little eggs, developing and molding ourselves into caterpillars. Before we know it, we wrap ourselves up in our journey, in everything we've learned, everything we've encountered, and we allow those experiences to help us metamorphose into something beautiful—a creature like no other—a butterfly. A butterfly that takes chances, that doesn’t limit itself to just one thing or one place, but embraces the opportunities of the world. We can all become something beautiful if we take care of ourselves, water our souls, and remember that everything worth having is worth fighting for!
The future is a big, beautiful mystery, and I have no idea what it holds or what the journey will demand. But I do know one thing: I have to start. So here’s to new beginnings, taking steps—big or small—and embracing the full circle moments that make life so incredibly unpredictable and exciting.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
